She graduated from the Minneapolis School of Massage and Bodywork in 2006 and received her Reiki Master Degree in 2012. Her areas of specialty include deep tissue, pain management, and energy balancing. Her ongoing interests are in functional medicine, nutrition and various forms of physical rehabilitation. Currently she is researching and practicing the art of sound therapy.

Deep Tissue Massage
A relaxing deep pressure massage using a variety of techniques (passive stretching) to release chronic muscle tension.
Reiki
An energetic healing in which the practitioner acts as a channel to ground, balance and restore energy flow throughout the body. This modality leaves the client feeling relaxed and centered.
Chakra Balance
Using essential oils, stones and crystals, this treatment is designed for deep relaxation. Combined with Reiki and Reflexology your body will be balanced, grounded and relaxed for emotional, spiritual and physical wellbeing.
Sports Massage
For individuals who desire a deeper massage experience. This modality helps to realign muscles and increase range of motion through Facilitated Stretch and Active Release Technique.
Hot Stone
Heated stones are placed on the body and used to glide over the muscles to relieve tension and promote relaxation.
Biofield Tuning
Biofield Tuning is a sound healing modality using tuning forks to relieve emotional, mental and physical stress. Biofield Tuning restores and balances the electromagnetic system of the body.
My name is Lori Dockendorf and I have been a client of Carol's for about a year. I was in a car accident at the age of 16 which resulted in a cervical injury. Consequently I have a disc injury between L6 and L7. I've been to many massage therapists through the years, but none of them have been able to help me with my back and neck issues like Carol has. I am a 65 year old Pathologist and have been receiving regular massages for more than 25 years. In that time I have used only three therapists on a long term basis. I have some issues with a fibromyalgia like syndrome and am very picky about who I see. Several years ago I lost my long time therapist and went on a search for someone I could use on an ongoing basis. After trying more than 15 therapists, most of whom I saw only once, I met Carol.
